Practical Questions to Ask as You Prepare
Format: Digital or Physical?
Mini Revolutions is a digital download curriculum. You’ll receive everything you need through digital files! Many use a shared drive or digital folder system to organize the monthly files for volunteers. Others print physical packets and organize them by month or season (Advent, Lent, etc.) for easy access.
Which format will you choose?
Distribution: Email or Packets?
Think about how you will share each week’s materials with your families or volunteers.
Will you email PDFs to volunteers or print copies and organize them?
Will you print the entire month’s materials at once or print week-by-week?
How Will You Use the Coloring Page or Bible Story Booklet?
There are so many ways to incorporate these visual resources. Use the coloring page alongside the Bible Story Booklet during storytelling or set out the coloring page for congregants of all ages to color during worship.
If you only have 10 minutes with kids, simply use the Bible Story Booklet! Read the story aloud, wonder about one question, and close with the prayer.
How do you envision using the coloring pages or Bible Story Booklets?

Adapting Mini Revolutions to Your Setting
Now let’s decide how you will adapt Mini Revolutions to your setting. Read through the settings below and make note of which ideas stand out to you.
One-Room Sunday School
Perfect for small or mixed-age groups, this setup uses the Leader Guide and Bible Story Booklet to engage everyone together. Add Story Cards for visual learners and Invitation to Play prompts to help younger participants embody the story through movement and creativity.
Kids’ Worship Space
Set up a quiet space during worship with a few simple elements: the Coloring Page, Bible Story Cards, and the Micropractice prompt. This option offers a calming, low-prep way for kids to stay connected to the weekly story while participating in the larger worship service.
At-Home Family Resource
Send faith formation home with families using a bundled weekly packet (or email) that includes the Bible Story Booklet, Coloring Page, and Invitation to Play ideas. Include a link to the Bible Storytelling Video for a complete and engaging Sunday experience at home.
Youth + Confirmation Add-On
Use the discussion questions from each week to spark reflection, journaling, or small-group conversations. Encourage teens to retell the story using the Bible Story Cards or invite them to help lead activities for younger children, deepening engagement and ownership.
