For over a decade, Illustrated Ministry has been reclaiming the Bible through the lens of inclusion, imagination, and God’s expansive love. Our children’s and intergenerational resources have helped churches around the world spark conversations that matter. Now, we’re doing the same for youth ministry.
Tell Me About the Bible is designed for progressive youth ministry—thoughtful, theologically rich, and grounded in curiosity and social justice.
After the success of our first volume, Tell Me About the Bible: Extraordinary Leaders, we’re thrilled to release Volume 2: Extraordinary Youth! This new four-session series explores how young people responded to God’s call with courage, creativity, and hope. Both volumes of Tell Me About the Bible help youth explore Scripture through a progressive, justice-minded lens:
Volume 1: Extraordinary Leaders — Four women (Deborah, Rahab, Phoebe, and Priscilla) whose leadership shaped our faith story.
Volume 2: Extraordinary Youth — Four young people (Joseph, Miriam, Samuel, and Mary) who answered God’s call with courage and creativity.
Each volume stands on its own—or pair them together for an eight-week series that deepens faith, imagination, and community.
